I’m looking forward to publishing my next book, the first in my new series, Martha’s Sons. I’ve made final edits and sent Book One, Simple Service, to my proofreader. After that, I’ll start getting it ready for print and for ebook publication.
Simple Service is set in the early days of Nwwwlf, a couple centuries before Sleeping Duty. Peter Dawe is born on the planet to parents who expected something a little more Earth-like when they emigrated from Earth’s WesHem. It’s all Peter knows: the terraformed valley of First Landing, the seemingly lovely but inhospitable planet outside the isolated valley, and his large family of pan.
Peter is the youngest of ten, what his brother calls the expendable child. With the burdens his father places on Peter, his brother might be right.
But enough about the story! Today is about the cover. Tom Edwards did the art work, and I love it.

Wow! I love it! When can we expect it to show up at Amazon?
Thanks for asking, Cheri!
I’m hoping within a couple months. Maybe sooner. Don’t worry, I’ll let you know.
